There's an X-Files episode that I've never forgotten. In one scene a group of captured aliens are being killed in a railway carriage and there's a voiceover by an old Red Indian Shaman, a character who plays a role later in the show, and he says something like: "We (Indians) have learned to trust our memory rather than history. History is full of the rulers' lies while memory is our own truth."

All the best to you both.

Ben xBen Emlyn-Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13858990047274822000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-954399895702774449.post-11907667242601890112009-02-23T05:41:00.000+00:002009-02-23T05:41:00.000+00:00Hi BenI understand your feeling about the newspape...Hi Ben
I understand your feeling about the newspaper in question :)

I definitely no longer buy history as we know it (or are made to know it). Perhaps the first people who should be asked their opinion are those who have personal experience of layouts such as these e.g surveyors & builders. I've always been impressed by the authority with which engineers spoke of the 'demolition' of the Twin Towers.
It seems to be the learned but 'un'-experienced who are asked to explain mysterious phenomenon!

I hope you are well
ATBAlex Robinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10626969675592777365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-954399895702774449.post-89551518781444480082009-02-22T06:58:00.000+00:002009-02-22T06:58:00.000+00:00You know Ben -as much as I love all things paranor...You know Ben -as much as I love all things paranormal and fortean -I have always had a maybe/maybe not view towards paranormal and other issues-however one 'myth' I have always thought very much had a basis in reality was the Atlantean myth-best to you as always!Devinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08467101354793913827noreply@blogger.com
